About Noah’s Children

The purpose of NOAH’S CHILDREN is to provide charitable donations to needy people throughout parts of the world. During visits to Russia, Armenia and Georgia, NOAH’S CHILDREN’s Board, officers and/or directors, have visited numerous health facilities. The lack of the even the most basic medicine, medical supplies and equipment was appalling. Visits to orphanages in Armenia revealed children living in extremely unfavorable conditions. The number of homeless children in Russia is currently greater than ever.

As an attempt to improve such harmful situations, NOAH’S CHILDREN works to improve the health and lives of those people living in developing countries who have been victimized by disaster or war. NOAH’S CHILDREN supports hospitals by supplying medicines, vitamins, and nutritional supplements, schools by providing them with school supplies such as books, pencils, and paper, orphanages and nursing homes by sending them clothing, food and items of personal care. NOAH’S CHILDREN also provides urgently needed medical resources to disaster areas and victims.

These donations have been sent to Russia, Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine and to almost all of the remaining former republics of Soviet Union.

NOAH’S CHILDREN coordinates with local organizations in each country to send these charitable donations and ensure that they are used in the most beneficial ways.

In order to carry out its future programs and purposes successfully, NOAH’S CHILDREN will depend heavily on private and public contributions.

Contributions are expected to come mostly from residents of the United States.

Direct Mail solicitations should be made from individuals that may be interested in furtherance and advancement of the purposes and objectives of the NOAH’S CHILDREN.

Mailing lists will be acquired from commercially available sources, and friends of the members of the Board of Directors, as well as other Armenian organizations of similar interest, who may be willing to assist in furtherance of purposes of the NOAH’S CHILDREN.

The main source of income to carry out the purposes and the goals of the corporation will be donations from members and from the public, public and private grants.

There will be fundraising events and banquets given at hotels or public halls to raise funds. There will be music and entertainment. Musicians and entertainers will be paid, from funds generated, a reasonable fee.

Most fund-raisers, to the extend possible, will be working on voluntary basis. Attempt will be made not to use professional/paid fund-raisers.
